Piano Express - Level 2

Service Description

The Piano Express - Level 2 is an introduction to traditional staff reading. We visually modified the G clef and F clef to help students remember the relationship between hands, registers, staves, and landmark notes. We use the song lyrics to reinforce note-reading concepts in a playful way. New notes are introduced in a natural and immersive style. Students learn to recognize notes both by rote and intervallic relationship, resulting in a strong and confident foundation. Technical challenges continue to build from the previous level (balanced fingertips, flexible wrists, and arm-finger interdependence). The songs selected in this level were designed to intentionally and carefully review these technical challenges. The songs are fun to play and listen to. Students will love their journey through Level 2!
